Get started with TrimBrim

TrimBrim shows you barber shops around you and how many chairs are free right now. The shop taps the number as people sit down and get up, so you can check before you leave home.

Sign up

1. Open the app and tap Get started.
2. Choose I want a haircut.
3. Tap Create account with your name, email and a password, or use Continue with Google.
4. Enter the 6-digit code we email you. Every code goes by email, never by text message.
5. Tap Use my location so the app can sort shops by distance. Or tap Not now and choose a city later.

The five tabs

• Home — offers and shops around you.
• Map — the same shops as pins.
• Bookings — slots you asked for, and every visit you have had.
• Offers — what shops around you are running.
• Profile — your account, saved shops and settings.

Read a shop card

Every shop on Home, in search and in your saved shops uses the same card.

• The photo — swipe it to see more. The pill on it says Open, On break or Closed. Near closing time it adds how many minutes are left.
• The heart — saves the shop.
• Name and rating — the stars and the number of reviews. New means nobody has rated it yet.
• Area and distance — how far the shop is from you.
• The bottom strip — chairs free out of the total, and how many people are waiting. Green means a chair is free, amber means there is a line, and Full means every chair is busy.

A closed shop's photo is greyed out and shows when it opens next, not a chair count.

Tip Tap any card to open the shop: its services and prices, hours, photos, offers, Directions and Call.
