Search by name, change how far to look, filter, sort, and use the map.
Search
On Home, tap the search bar. Type a shop's name, an area, or a shop code.
Choose how far to look
Tap the distance pill (for example Within 5 km) to open How far will you go?
- Pick 2 km, 5 km, 10 km, 20 km or Whole city.
- Or type any distance from 0.5 to 50 km.
- Tap Show shops within … to apply it.
The app remembers your choice, and Home and search use the same distance.
No location? Choose a city
If location is off, tap the place pill to open Where are you looking? Pick Use my location, or one of the cities where TrimBrim shops are listed. In a city you see every shop there, but without distances.
Filters and sort
Tap the filter button beside the search bar.
- Chair free — only shops with a free chair now.
- Open now — only shops that are open.
- Rating 4+ — shops rated 4 stars or more.
- Takes bookings — shops where you can book a slot.
- Brands or Local — salon brands, or shops on their own.
In search you can also sort by Nearest, Top rated, Most seats free or Most reviewed. Nothing changes until you tap Show shops.
Use the map
Open the Map tab. Each pin shows how many chairs are free, Full, or Closed. Tap a pin to see the shop at the bottom, then tap View shop to open it.
- Move the map, then tap Search this area to see shops there.
- Tap Back to near me to return.
In search, the button at the top right switches between the list and the map.
Tip If nothing shows, try a bigger distance, switch a filter off, or search by name.
