Save shops and get alerts
Heart the shops you like, find them again, and hear when they open or close.
Save a shop
Tap the heart on a shop card, or at the top of a shop's page. Tap it again to remove the shop.
To see them all, go to Profile and tap Saved shops. Each one shows the same live card, with its free chairs and waiting number.
Alerts from saved shops
When a shop you saved opens or closes, you get a notification:
- "… is open" — with how many chairs are free right now.
- "… is closed" — the shop has stopped taking customers for now.
You hear at most once each way in a few hours, however often the shop switches itself on and off.
Turn the alerts off
- Go to Profile and tap Notifications.
- Tap the settings button at the top right to open Notification settings.
- Switch off Saved shops opening and closing.
Whatever you turn off stops arriving altogether. It is not kept in the list for later. Your saved shops stay saved.
Tip If notifications are off for TrimBrim on your phone, the screen says so. Tap Open phone settings to allow them. The list inside the app still fills up either way.
Save a haircut
On a shop's Photos tab you can save a cut you like. Find them under Profile → Saved cuts, and show one to your barber when you go.
